With an unfinished top and back, it should not be used as a freestanding unit. Compatibility includes desk, credenza and return shells that are 24", 30" and 36" deep. Hanging pedestal file is not for use under 20" deep shells. Configuration includes one box drawer and one file drawer with hangrails for letter-size filing. Both drawers lock. Interchangeable core-removable lock can be positioned on either the right or left side.
