PLA-lined hot cups are part of Solo's Eco-Forward offering. They are fully compostable in a commercial compost facility. Fibers are certified under the SFI chain of custody. The cups are also made with plant-based renewable resources. The cup is lined with PLA (poly lacticacid), a plant-based resin that acts as a moisture barrier to prevent leaking, replacing the petroleum-based lining typically found in paper hot cups. Rolled rim gives rigidity to the cup and ensures secure leak-resistant lid fit. One lid (sold separately) fits popular cup sizes for operational efficiency. These hot cups use Solo Dome Hot Cup Lids (TL31BR and TL31R2) and Liftback and Lock Tab Lids (LB3101 and LB3161).
